A new exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant has now come up at a successful school in Carshalton. For the successful Teaching Assistant, you’ll be working at the school long term and full time Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm so you’ll get to build good rapport and see children’s progress throughout the academic year.
This school has a real focus on creating a language rich environment through regular phonics, guided reading and spelling interventions, and encourages children to become independent learners. As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring children are progressing in all areas of development and working towards their targets.
For this Teaching Assistant role, previous experience working in a school is required and SEN experience would be advantageous as some of your time will be spent working with children with SEN.
