The role

You will work alongside experienced teachers and support staff, supporting students both in lessons and through small group interventions. The role combines academic support, relationship building and helping students develop the confidence and skills needed to succeed in school.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting students across a range of subjects and year groups
• Working with small groups and individual learners
• Assisting pupils with SEND and additional learning needs
• Encouraging participation, engagement and confidence in lessons
• Supporting teachers with classroom activities and preparation
• Contributing to a positive and inclusive school environment

The successful Graduate Teaching Assistant will have:

• A degree in any subject
• An interest in education and working with young people
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive, resilient and professional approach
• The ability to build strong relationships with students and colleagues
