A successful secondary school on the South Coast is seeking a Geography Teacher from September 2026. This permanent Geography Teacher role includes teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach A Level Geography at KS5.
Geography is a popular and well-established subject within the school, attracting strong uptake at GCSE and sixth form level. Students are engaged, curious about the world around them and respond well to teachers who can bring both physical and human geography to life.
The Humanities faculty is collaborative and supportive, with shared resources, established schemes of work and a culture that values professional trust. Staff work together to maintain high standards while ensuring teaching remains sustainable and enjoyable.
Geography Teacher Role
• Teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4
• Opportunity to teach A Level Geography at KS5
• Preparing students for GCSE Geography and A Level Geography examinations
• Delivering engaging lessons across physical and human geography
• Supporting fieldwork, enrichment and wider Humanities activities
• Working within a successful Geography and Humanities department

The Successful Candidate
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Degree in Geography or a related subject
• Strong Geography subject knowledge
• Ability to teach Geography at KS3 and KS4
• A Level Geography experience desirable but not essential
• ECTs and experienced Geography Teachers welcome to apply
