French Teacher, 2 days per week

A secondary school in Gravesend is looking for a French Teacher to join the MFL team for two days per week from January until July. This is a consistent part time role that suits someone who enjoys well planned lessons, calm routines and helping students gain confidence in a modern foreign language.

About the role

You will teach French across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 on two scheduled days each week. Your responsibilities will include:
• Delivering engaging French lessons that build vocabulary and fluency
• Supporting students with listening, speaking, reading and writing
• Using accurate modelling and clear explanation
• Contributing to shared MFL planning and departmental resources
• Creating a calm and positive learning atmosphere

About you

You are a qualified French Teacher who:
• Has strong knowledge of the French language and culture
• Communicates clearly and models excellent pronunciation
• Enjoys structured planning and consistent routines
• Builds positive relationships with students
• Can commit to two days per week for the full January to July period
