Ethos Education is working with a welcoming and well regarded secondary school near Winchester, Hampshire to appoint a Food Technology Teacher for a September 2026 start.
This is a fantastic opportunity for either an experienced Food Technology Teacher or an ambitious ECT looking to join a supportive Design and Technology department with well equipped food rooms and strong uptake at Key Stage 4. For the right candidate, a Head of Department position may also be available.
The role:
- Teach Food Preparation and Nutrition across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Plan and deliver engaging, practical lessons that build both culinary skill and theoretical understanding
- Contribute to the wider life of a collaborative Design and Technology faculty
- Support students of all abilities to achieve strong outcomes at GCSE
What we are looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A degree or specialism relevant to Food Technology, Food Science or a related subject
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A genuine passion for food education and healthy eating
