Drama plays an important role within the creative life of this Surrey secondary school. An opportunity has become available for a Drama Teacher from September 2026.

This Drama Teacher role includes teaching Drama at KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to contribute to A Level Drama and Theatre Studies. The school values the performing arts and provides students with opportunities to participate in productions, performances and wider enrichment activities.

Students engage enthusiastically with Drama and the department enjoys a strong reputation within the school community. Teachers are encouraged to bring creativity, energy and professional expertise to their lessons while working within a supportive and collaborative team.

Drama Teacher Role

• Teaching Drama at KS3 and KS4
• Opportunity to teach A Level Drama
• Supporting school productions and performances
• Preparing students for GCSE and A Level examinations
• Working within a successful Performing Arts department

The Successful Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Degree in Drama, Theatre Studies or related subject
• Ability to teach Drama at KS3 and KS4
• Interest or experience in KS5 Drama desirable
• Strong classroom practice and communication skills
