Ethos Education is recruiting a Business Studies Teacher for a permanent teaching position in the Winchester area starting in September 2026. This Business Teacher role includes teaching Business Studies at KS4 and KS5, including A Level Business, within a successful sixth form. Suitable for an experienced Business Studies Teacher, Teacher of Business or ambitious ECT.
Business Studies is a popular subject within the school, with strong uptake at both GCSE and A Level. Students are engaged, outcomes are consistently strong and the subject plays an important role within a thriving sixth form.

Business Studies Teacher Responsibilities
• Teaching Business Studies at KS4 and KS5
• Teaching A Level Business within a successful sixth form
• Preparing students for GCSE Business and A Level Business examinations
• Delivering engaging Business Studies lessons with strong real world relevance
• Supporting student progress and achievement across Business Studies
• Contributing to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities
• Working collaboratively with colleagues within the Business department
The Department
Business Studies has an established place within the curriculum and sixth form. Students are encouraged to develop commercial awareness, analytical thinking and an understanding of contemporary business issues. The department has shared resources, established schemes of work and a collaborative approach to planning.
The Successful Candidate Will Have
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• A degree in Business, Economics or a related subject
• Strong Business Studies subject knowledge
• Ability to teach Business Studies at KS4 and KS5
• Experience teaching GCSE Business and A Level Business desirable
• Economics teaching experience would be an advantage
• Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
