Ethos Education is recruiting a Business Studies & Economics Teacher for a secondary school in the Crawley area. This permanent teaching position starts in September 2026 and includes teaching Business Studies at KS4 and KS5, alongside A Level Economics.
Suitable for an experienced Business Studies Teacher, Economics Teacher, Teacher of Business and Economics or an ambitious ECT with strong subject knowledge, this is an opportunity to join a high performing school with a thriving sixth form and strong academic outcomes.

Business Studies & Economics Teacher Responsibilities
• Teaching Business Studies at KS4 and KS5
• Teaching A Level Economics
• Preparing students for GCSE Business and A Level examinations
• Delivering engaging lessons with strong commercial and economic relevance
• Supporting student progress and achievement across Business and Economics
• Contributing to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities
• Working collaboratively within a successful sixth form department

Business and Economics are well established subjects within the curriculum and sixth form. Students regularly progress to university courses, apprenticeships and careers linked to business, finance, economics and management.

The Successful Candidate Will Have
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Degree in Business, Economics or a related subject
• Strong subject knowledge in Business Studies and Economics
• Ability to teach Business Studies at KS4 and KS5
• Ability to teach A Level Economics
• Commitment to high standards and student achievement
• ECTs and experienced teachers welcome to apply
