This role is via Ethos Education on behalf of this Buckinghamshire school hiring a permanent SEND teacher.
In this role, you will work in our Learning Support Department, collaborating with a dedicated team of Learning Support Assistants, Higher Level Teaching Assistants, and an experienced SENDCo. You will primarily support a small group of students in Key Stage 4, utilizing your creativity, flexibility, and excellent communication skills to tailor your teaching approach to their individual needs.
We offer a stimulating alternative curriculum, and you will have the opportunity to plan, prepare, and deliver engaging learning activities using available resources. Your role will also involve monitoring student progress, evaluating teaching strategies, and sharing best practices with the wider school community. Additionally, you will have the chance to attend staff and parent meetings, fostering positive relationships and promoting effective communication.

To be considered for this role, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have substantial experience working with students with special educational needs.
