Make a difference as a Qualified Nursery Practitioner working in an inclusive and vibrant nursery in London. 

The suitable Nursery Practitioner will hold at least a Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare and will be working full time (Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm) at a nursery located in Battersea.

Located in Battersea, this nursery is easily accessed thanks to the great transport links (including tube and train stations, and multiple bus routes), as well as being near a lovely park, great for after work strolls and even used for day trips with the children! The nursery also has its own private outdoor space for extended learning, as well as specialised rooms and a sensory room.
 
As a Qualified Nursery Practitioner, your duties will include but are not limited to:    

  • Following the EYFS curriculum to assist children with the development of early reading and early maths skills 
  • Leading and assisting with activities that stimulate children’s imagination and creativity   
  • Supporting children’s personal, social and emotional development   
  • Providing a learning environment that is safe, supportive and stimulating, allowing every child to grow at their own pace and feels encouraged 
  • Encouraging development through play and exploration    
  • Helping children to build on their social skills and develop positive relationships  

As a Qualified Nursery Practitioner, you’ll leave each day feeling rewarded knowing you’ve made a real difference to a child’s life and development. You should have a good understanding of and good attitude towards working in Early Years, and be organised, able to manage your workload effectively.
