North London – Nursery Practitioner – Immediate or January Start
A vibrant and supportive nursery in North London is currently seeking a Nursery Practitioner who is passionate about Early Years to join their friendly team of staff!
Prior experience working with children under 5 within a nursery or childcare setting would be ideal, and a Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare is essential for the suitable Nursery Practitioner.
Strong knowledge of EYFS and children’s learning and development is important for the successful Nursery Practitioner, as you are playing a key role in preparing young children for their future, and supporting their growth and development during their most formative years.
As a Nursery Practitioner, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Planning and delivering play-based learning activities and exploration based on the EYFS curriculum that promote children’s learning and development
- Creating an environment that is stimulating, supportive and safe, and that enables children to grow and learn at their own pace
- Supporting and assisting with early reading, vocabulary, literacy and communication development
- Assisting with the development of early maths skills
- Establishing positive relationships with children and their families
