Music Teacher

Ethos Education are seeking a Music teacher on a permanent full time basis starting September 2023. 

Located in Maidenhead, Berkshire with strong commuter links to Central London, Heathrow Airport & the opportunity to explore Reading, Oxford or Windsor on your weekends or school breaks. 

ECT Music teachers or experienced Music teacher are welcome to apply.

The Music department boasts two specialist teaching rooms, six practice rooms, a recording studio and school theatre, and these are the perfect canvas for Music students to use to create inventive, dynamic and high quality work. The Music department also has a vibrant peripatetic schedule, which helps enthuse students in rehearsal and performance, meaning the Music department is one of the hubs of extra-curricular life of the school. In collaboration with Drama and Dance, Music assists in the production of concerts, school musicals and various other public events to showcase our students’ impressive talents. If you can develop the KS5 A Level Music curriculum, this would be welcome. 

Music Technology also features on this 1500 NOR schools timetable. 

Music teachers will benefit from a supportive leadership, diverse pupils to teach, hands on Governing body, excellent training & support through the Teach Maidenhead scheme and more. There is a very lively Music extra curricular programme for a new Music teacher to join in the new academic year.
