We aim to encourage and equip all students with a broad range of mathematical skills in order to be successful in a highly competitive environment.
Our well-resourced curriculum area includes six dedicated upper school classrooms and a further four used for lower school. The Key Stage 3 Curriculum in Mathematics is a three-year MYP course between Years 7 to 9, and we follow the Edexcel 9-1 GCSE Mathematics course from Year 10 through to Year 11. We also offer Mathematics as a DP subject for the IBCP in the Sixth Form, with numbers growing year on year.
We provide an inclusive and differentiated curriculum that develops learners socially, morally, spiritually and culturally, and create a positive learning ethos in which staff and learners feel supported and cared for. Students benefit from traditional and electronic resources, including iPads, and regular homework and class work is set interactively to encourage the confident use of technology at all levels.
