Tottenham – Learning Support Assistant role to start ASAP

Working full time as an LSA, you will join a team of likeminded and hardworking staff, working together to make a real impact on children’s lives and early development.
Your day-to-day duties as a Learning Support Assistant will likely include:
- Providing support for children who need help with communication, language and literacy
- Supporting key children to help them reach the targets on their EHCPs and/or IEPs
- Delivering learning interventions and monitoring the progress of children with SEND, both 1:1 and in small groups
- Planning further intervention sessions based on key children’s progress
- Supporting children with SEND so they can access the entire curriculum and reach their full potential
- Ensuring a safe, supportive and positive learning environment where every child is encouraged and is able to thrive
- Providing support for non-verbal children through Speech and Language activities
- Working closely with the class teachers and senior leaders, providing feedback on key children’s progress when necessary
This is a long-term Learning Support Assistant role to last until the end of the academic year in July 2025 at least, and there is the potential for it to become permanent thereafter. Located in Tottenham, this school is easily accessed thanks to great transport links and local parking
