As an LSA working full time, you will be:
- Supporting children with SEND to reach their full potential and access the full curriculum
- Planning and delivering a number of intervention programmes to children either 1:1 or in small groups, monitoring progress and providing feedback to teaching staff and senior leaders
- Providing support for key children to help them reach the targets on their EHCPs and/or IEPs
- Assisting with the delivery of a diverse and stimulating curriculum to children of all abilities
- Supporting students with SEND on a 1:1 or 1:2 basis, or in small groups where necessary
- Ensuring a safe and supportive class environment where each child is able to thrive and feels inspired and encouraged
- Providing support for children who need help with communication, language and literacy
- Supporting non-verbal children with Speech and Language activities
- Working Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:45pm
This is a full-time and long-term Learning Support Assistant role to work term-time only, and is due to last until the end of the academic year in July, with the potential for the role to become permanent in the future.
