Kensington: SEND Teaching Assistant position with immediate start

A welcoming and diverse primary school in Kensington is now looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join the team within Key Stage 2 to start ASAP.  This school aims to help every child develop their character and a love of learning, supporting all pupils to be proud of their unique identities.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be:  

  • Providing memorable learning experiences 
  • Delivering learning interventions to children across KS2 linked to targets on their EHCP/IEP 
  • Monitoring children’s progress with the intervention sessions, liaising with and giving feedback to teaching staff and senior leaders 
  • Encouraging development of vocabulary through speech, reading and writing 
  • Supporting children with SEND in an inclusive environment, ensuring every child’s needs are met
  • A motivating and positive role model  

As you will be delivering interventions independently, preparing resources and evaluating outcomes, previous experience is essential to this role as a KS2 SEND Teaching Assistant.
