Ethos Education are looking for a Geography Teacher for a school in East London. This role could incorporate TLR in addition to Geography Teacher responsibilities.
The school is an 11-18 community secondary school. Geography is a popular subject at all levels, most students remain at the school for 6th Form, and many students go on to top universities to study Geography. As such, a Geography Teacher at this school will need to be able to demonstrate excellent subject knowledge.
This school is based in Ilford, with excellent transport links, and ample opportunity for a Geography teacher to make use of the local area in their teaching, which is encouraged by the school.
If you are currently a trainee Geography teacher and expecting to be an ECT in September 2023, we would be keen to hear from you. Similarly, if you are a Geography teacher seeking a role that might include 2i/c, Geography Subject Lead or Key Stage Lead, arrangements could be made to accommodate these requirements depending on your existing experience as a Geography teacher.
This school is an excellent employer, having taken considerable steps to reduce workload of staff. As such, the turnover of staff is low. Any new Geography teacher would be joining a well-established, well-run Humanities department with lots of opportunity.
