Early Years Educator role – Available in Southwark
 
A rewarding Early Years Educator position is now available at a welcoming and happy nursery in South London.

Located in the heart of Southwark, this nursery has plenty of transport links, as well as parking available. This is a great nursery which offers many incentives and benefits, including performance bonuses paid throughout the year, and as an Early Years Educator you would be supported by a management team who really value every single member of staff. 

A relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare is essential for this role and prior experience working in a nursery or with children under 5 is important for the suitable Early Years Educator.
   
Working full-time (Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm) as an Early Years Educator, you will:     

  • Use the Early Years Framework and EYFS curriculum to assist with early reading and early maths skills development
  • Support children with their personal, social and emotional development    
  • Create a supportive, stimulating and language-rich environment within the nursery
  • Have strong knowledge of early childhood development 
  • Encourage development through play and exploration
  • Lead/assist with activities that stimulate children’s imagination and creativity 
  • Plan and deliver creative lessons that are fun and based on the Early Years curriculum
  • Work collaboratively with a team of likeminded and dedicated staff 

 With various opportunities for career progression and a friendly and supportive working environment, this diverse nursery is a great place for any Early Years Educator to work. This is a permanent position to start ASAP or in January 2025, and is very rewarding as you’ll be making a real difference to children’s early development. Salary would be from 25k-27k per annum, and the role is 40 hours per week but can be flexible.
